COMPOSITION
Bespoke compositions for Radio, TV, Film, Theatre, Commercials. Interesting ideas, recorded with the finest musicians from Scotland and around the world. With the space to record large ensembles such as Chamber Orchestra or choir, music can be written and recorded in house.
In addition to our bespoke catalogue we have created an extensive amount of content for sync and production music for libraries such as Melodie, Ninja Tune Production Music and Deli.
Film & TV Scores
At Metro 13 Music we compose and produce music for Television and Film. Credits include "Putuparri and the Rainmakers', 'None Of The Above', 'Strong IS Better Than Angry', the award winning 'Grimm Street' and the animation 'Dave'. With extensive experience as a session musician Marty Hailey has performed as a guitarist on many scores such as Baz Luhrmann's 'Australia' and the critically acclaimed documentaries 'Everybody's Oma', 'The Burning Season' and 'This is America'. We have written music for the BBC, ABCTV (Aus), Channels 7 and 10 (Aus) and Discovery Channel Europe. Marty has worked as a member of house bands and music departments for The Singing Office (Fox), The Sideshow (ABC), Good News Week (ABC).
Theatre
As a theatre composer and musical director Marty Hailey has toured the world writing and arranging music for shows on Broadway, London's West End, Edinburgh Festivals, Glastonbury, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Darlinghurst Theatre, Sydney Opera House and many more. In 2010 he won a Helpmann award for best score for the show 'Smoke and Mirrors'. Metro13 continues to produce tracks and arrangements for acts in circus, cabaret and theatre - putting new spins on classic tunes or writing bespoke pieces.
Commercials
Metro 13 has written and produced music for a variety of different ad companies: Infinite Content, Delicious Digital, GTMP, Eyebolls and Werewolf animation, also direct to clients such as Baille Gifford We have had tracks placed on several online and television commercials in Australia by Melodie.

Metro 13 has written and produced music for BBC and RTÉ, most notably was the theme and background music for the 2015 Rugby World Cup for BBC Radio 5 Live We have also recorded and produced a number of voice overs for advertisements
